April 2017 has been a big month for me. I turned 30 years old and couldn't be happier with life right now. I mean how did I get so lucky! --- stop right there --- Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to be one of those people who put out the perception that my life is perfect, because it is far from that. Yes I have a successful little business, but I work damn hard for it and make sacrifices everyday to make it work. Midnight is an early night for me, my daughter is late for pre school EVERY day, I no patience for my own kid (and oodles for every one elses), my house is only cleaned when my fantastic house cleaner comes (yep first to admit it). I could keep going... I can't cook, we eat far to much take-away, I missed my chiropractor appointment over a month ago and still haven't called to re-book or apologise, my kid eats sugar everyday (damn you Mums who have your kids eating 'colours of the rainbow') and as a result is a moody little mite full of attitude. I joined the gym 3 months ago and still have only been once, I don't walk my dogs, I don't text people back (sorry friends, I just forget) and to make up for not seeing my friends I hound them for hours on the phone so I get some adult conversation. My life is chaos, but it's a happy chaos. Perfectly imperfect in every way. Yes, there are still things I am working on and trying to change some bad habits, but at the end of the day when I look at my little family my heart just explodes with love. I am just so thankful for the love we have and everything in our lives. I really am so lucky.
So heres to 30 years, bring on the wrinkles, my mum-tum can stay for a little longer while I spend my free time with the ones that matter and appreciating all that I have.
Oh, and heres some pretty photos that I took during April. You know your in a happy place with your work when you look back through and can't narrow down favourites, so I'm sharing a little bit more this month, because why not :)
